Because all those students who get clear in entrance exam will be placed for counselling rounds. You have to check your name in the JECA merit list 2017 for the eligibility of West Bengal JECA Counselling 2017.
WBJEE JECA Result 2017
After conducting the online examination, the board will announce the JECA Result 2017. The result will not be informed individually to any candidate. The board does not have any provisional for post-publication security and/or review and hence the Board will not entertain any such request after the examination.
The JECA 2017 rank card will be awarded to all candidates, who appeared in JECA 2017 Entrance Exam. Remember, only those candidates will be eligible for counselling who will score equal or more than a cut off rank and/ or a cutoff score will be decided by the Board, Which will be announced along with the result.

You can check out the official website for the counselling form; and will also get the link for the merit list there. You have to fill the form before September this year. The official portal can be found here, WBJEEB.in or WBJEEB.NIC.IN. For the process, the candidate has to pay the non-refundable fee of Rs. 506/-. Which is a one time fee? On the day of document verification and seat allotment, you need to take the copy of e-challan.
WB JECA 2017 Counselling Documents For Verification
These are the important document which you need to carry with you for verification. Carry both original and two photocopies of them.
1. Counselling Form
2. Board copy of Bank challan.
3. Admit Card of JECA 2017.
4. JECA 2017 Result Sheet
5. Original mark sheet of Madhyamik or equivalent examination.
6. 10th and 12th mark sheet
7. Graduate level mark sheets
8. In case of SC / ST / PWD / OBC certificate
9. Citizen of India
